Business Opportunity Program
The Business Op Program at Hard Tops allows you to open your own
distributorship immediately. It consists of an 8-day training session. Hard Tops
will accept up to two students per session. These 8 days are packed full of
information and exercises to help you become one of the best refinishers in the
world!
Your first three days will be spent in Lubbock, Texas, with Mark
Ruzicka of Hard Tops in a classroom setting. All distributors are required to
work with Mark. This is an important aspect of the training program at Hard
Tops. It allows you to work one on one with him. In these three days, you will
be required to take and pass four written exams over the material in the Hard
Tops Start Up Guide, learn spraying 101 in a controlled environment,
learn/practice appropriate gun care and maintenance, and learn beginner’s spot
repairs.
After the classroom portion, you will move on to a complete
hands-on training. Each student will be assigned to a trainer and will travel to
his destination. You will be working with this trainer for the next 5 days. Here
you will learn to work in the field. You will personally be completing actual
jobs in your trainer’s market. This will also give you a chance to see how your
trainer runs his business on a daily basis, including sales and marketing.
