Now, we know it’s a tough decision to make when you decide to start your own business. We really appreciate you taking the time to learn what we have to offer. Congratulations, you have taken one of the first steps necessary to become part of our team.
 We have always believed that honesty, hard work, and showing up on time are necessary when working in our industry. It is very important to us when someone trusts us with their careers and financial future, that we can help them achieve their goals. Opening any new business isn’t the easiest thing in the world to do, but it is a very attainable goal. If you honestly have the qualities that we have described, then you have a better than average chance of becoming a success in our industry.
We will continue to surround ourselves with individuals that have our same basic beliefs and principals. This has been a win/win formula for our team. Everyone of our distributors has a vote in our little organization. We have learned that the good and bad experiences of ourselves, as well as our distributors, will only help educate all of us. We promote and encourage teamwork and communication between our distributors.
There are numerous companies that offer training for potential refinishers on the world wide web. You have several major decisions to make in your search for a trainer and supplier. Nearly all of them will talk about their being the biggest, best, and fastest growing - or whatever the new “power word” for the week is. All we are going to say is, “We will do everything possible to help you become a successful craftsman in our industry.”
We are here to provide you with the knowledge, training, and continuing education to help you and your company grow. Trickle up economics is our basic business philosophy, meaning our company will grow and become stronger by helping our distributors grow and become successful businesses in their hometowns. We do stock a complete chemical inventory, but we encourage our guys to purchase as many products as possible from local suppliers. This in turn, puts more of their hard earned money back into their own pockets and their local communities.
Before you contact us to request one of our information packages, we ask that you do the following 3 things.
1. Check our database of affiliates to verify we do not already have a distributor in your area. We will not open a location to compete with our existing distributors. We allow one distributor per 500,000 people.
2. Look in your local yellow pages under the “Bathtub Repair and Refinishing” section, and find out who your competition will be.
3. Call and ask them about their services and prices. Find out what their guarantees are. How much do they charge? How long will it take them? How long have they been in business? How to care for the refinished surface? What type of product are they using? How long before the refinished surface may be used?
These questions will help both of us decide how to handle and overcome the competition. Many of our distributors have used this information and become the leaders in their markets. After using our products and application processes, all of our guys are proud of the fact that most of their customers won’t even consider using the competition.
