Countertop Refinishing Paint Coatings

Hard Tops’ Countertop Coating is specifically designed for countertop refinishing on textured surfaces, like plastic laminates, where low-sheen film is desired. Our Countertop Coating is not an epoxy paint-product. It’s a two-component, industrial polyurethane, designed to provide superior chemical-abrasion resistance over plastic laminates and cultured marble. Additionally, it provides cure down to 40 degrees and has excellent color and gloss retention.

MIXING: The Countertop Coating to catalyst mix ratio is 6:1, which means six parts Hard Tops’ Countertop Coating to one-part Hard Tops’ Catalyst. Mix two parts thoroughly for five minutes prior to use. Up to four parts Hard Tops’ Reducer may be added for desired spray viscosity when performing countertop resurfacing.

SURFACE PREPARATION: The surface must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease, mull scale, and other contaminants before beginning countertop repair. Cleaning methods include wet sanding and solvent scrub.

APPLICATION: Designed for HVLP application. DO NOT USE HEATED APPLICATOR.

SAFETY: Hard Tops’ Countertop Coating contains solvents and/or other chemical ingredients. Read material’s safety data-sheet before using Coating. Adequate health and safety precautions should be followed during all storage, handling, use, and drying periods.

LIMITATION: The technical data and suggestions in the data sheet for use of Hard Tops’ Countertop Coating are correct and up-to-date, to the best of our knowledge, but are subject to change without notice. Since application and conditions vary, which are beyond Hard Tops’ control, we are not responsible for results obtained in using this product during countertop refinishing – even when used as suggested.

The user should conduct tests to determine the suitability of the product that bathtub resurfacing, or kitchen countertop refinishing, will be performed on. You should also found out if its use (including liability for breach of warranty, strict liability in tort, negligence or otherwise) is limited exclusively to replacement of the product, or refund of its price. Under no circumstances is Hard Tops’ reliable for incidental and/or consequential damage.
