Dear Mark,
Wally and I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your entire staff on a wonderful week in Lubbock. To be honest we were wondering just what we were getting ourselves into and you did not disappoint. One of my best post-training stories is when you met us at the airport, after 6 or 7 hours of traveling, and wanted us to start the training. As I tell everyone now we knew were in trouble. But then we saw your showroom and went Wow! Now, normally, when you travel on weekends for training, you start on Monday giving yourselves time to unwind from the travel. Not here! We got our money’s worth with a full day of training on Sunday. People ask us why we had to train on Sunday. I tell them its because we went right to a customer’s house Monday morning and did our first tub.
For me, as a paper pusher in my former life, this wasn’t boot camp it was Hell Week. But you know I not only got use to it, I was actually more invigorated at the end of the week than I had been in months. Part of it was from the physical work but most came from the confidence that now I know how to spray, what to spray, how to mix, how to prep, and all the other aspects to make this work for me. I know Wally also feels this way. We both said this was the best training either of us had ever attended and well worth the money. Also your personal attention to details, the hours spent with us yelling “butt up”, “slow down”, “speed up”, “get closer”, the agony you suffered watching me eat steak after steak, made it all work.
Now seriously Wally and I want to thank you for all the hard work you put into our training. There is no way that 2-3 days in a classroom would have prepared us to refinish professionally like the hands on training we had with you. We certainly got our money’s worth and we were a little sorry to leave Lubbock (no more steak.) We’re both looking forward to showing you what we’ve accomplished when we see you later next year.
