Employee/Intern Program
The Hard Tops intern program allows you to earn while you learn bathtub resurfacing. The intern program is designed for people who are highly motivated to become their own boss but don’t have the financial capability to open their own shop.
It’s a 2 to 2.5 year program. The 1st year is all "hands on" and will teach you to become great at countertop refinishing and overcome the obstacles that occur during the day-to-day operations. The second year you’ll perfect your refinishing skills and give you the business skills needed to successfully operate your own hard top refinishing company.
Your trainer and our office will subsidize your start-up fees through a two- to 2.5-year commitment to Hard Tops. We’ll do everything in our power to help make you successful in the bathtub reglazing industry. We’ll be giving you our best and we challenge you to do the same. In turn, you’ll be working on a lower pay scale to help us offset the cost for your territory, training, equipment, and product and advertising materials.
Internship Requirements: (No Exceptions)
- Must be in good health and physical shape.
- Must be reliable, prompt and honest.
- Must be willing and able to learn.
- Must be customer-service oriented.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a drug test / criminal background check.
- Must be able to relocate to one of our internship training locations.
- Must be able to dedicate 2 - 2.5 years training.
